We went out for tapas and since none of us speak catalan, we had to just jab at what other people were eating. To our great surprise, we received some sardines:

St. Chinian & Béziers

Thursday markets in St. Chinian! Not nearly as big as we thought they would be, so we spent most of the day wine tasting.

Saucissons
Zoe and I bought some Gruyère, only to find out later that it was going to be costing us 8€... very disappointing, but good cheese!
What we really did in Saint-Chinian:
wine cellar
Paella: we thought we would like it... but it was a bit too squirmy and seafoody for us, maybe because it was 10:30am. Too many shrimp tentacles!

After spending more than enough time in St. Chinian, we finally caught our 14h bus to Béziers. We had a nice lunch outside on a terrace, and then visited Saint-Nazaire.
So here's the thing about France: they make good salads.
